Trails & Open Space

McLainberg maintains approximately 28 miles of improved multi-use trails connecting neighborhoods, parks, and the Ridgeline Open Space Preserve. The City's Trails Master Plan, adopted in 2019, identifies an additional 14 miles of proposed trail connections for future implementation as development occurs and funding becomes available.

Trail users are reminded that dogs must be on a leash no longer than 6 feet in all City parks and on paved trails. Dogs are prohibited in the Aquatic Center, sports courts, and playground equipment areas.
