Annual Independence Day celebration with family activities, live entertainment, food vendors, and a professional fireworks display at dusk. Free admission.

Special Event Permits

Organizations wishing to host a public special event in McLainberg — including festivals, races, outdoor markets, and parades — must obtain a Special Event Permit from the City at least 60 days before the event date. Applications are available from the City Clerk's Office. Large events (over 500 attendees or requiring street closures) require City Council approval and must be submitted at least 120 days in advance.
