About the Development Code

The McLainberg Development Code (DC) is the comprehensive land use and development regulatory document for the City of McLainberg. It implements the City's adopted General Plan by establishing zoning districts, land use regulations, development standards, and permit procedures. The Code was comprehensively updated in 2018 and is amended as needed to address changing conditions and state law requirements.

How to Use This Code

To determine what is allowed on a specific property: (1) Identify the zoning district using the Zoning Map; (2) Review the allowed uses in Chapter 4; (3) Check the development standards in Chapter 5; (4) Determine the required permit in Chapter 8.
